After-school Group/One-on-One Tutelage
August 11, 2025 - May 15, 2026
After-school tutelage groups offers students an innovative learning approach to reading comprehension, writing composition, and math.
Students may sign up for:
- Reading Comprehension (Vocabulary, Critical Thinking, Rhetoric, Annotation, Sentence Structure and Cohesion, Phonetic reading with fluency and decoding)
- Writing Composition (Grammar, Vocabulary, Style and Structure)
- Math (Fundamental math for 3rd-6th grades, Pre-Algebra/Algebra for 7th-9th grades). Please note group math is based on assessment and availability.
- Standardized Testing Prep (CogAT, IOWA, STAAR, SAT, ACT...) Not available in group
- Science (Complements and Clarifies Scientific Concepts, Increase Depth of Knowledge)
- Public Speaking/Debate (Speech Preparation and Organization, Delivery Techniques, Audience Engagement)​
- College Essay Application Assistance (Style and Structure, Authenticity, and Meaningful and Insightful Voice)
- Global Elementary Model United Nations (TBA) and Future City Competition (TBA)

In tutorial groups students are taught learning strategies for reading comprehension and style/structure for writing composition. The innovative learning methodology allows students to participate in discussions and to think critically. Brainstorming as a team helps to build student's self-esteem and reasoning. Weekly assignments helps to enhance learning and continuously evaluate student's needs.

**Groups tutorials will take place in the library and/or via Zoom.

Register your student by completing the Registration form. Please note sessions and subjects availability is based on student's assessments. Not all students' needs can be met in a group environment.
*Please note group days and time may change based on demand.

*All sessions are subject our availability per semester, registration fee, and cancellation policy.
*No refund or reschedule for NO SHOWS less than a 24 hour cancellation. Please note reschedules for private sessions are limited. Third grade and greater private students reschedule will be placed in a group sessions.
